Tell us your backstory: What was your path to owning a business in Del Mar Village? Did you grow up here? Why did you choose Del Mar Village to set up shop?
Stephanie and I are sisters and both work as physician assistants. We share a passion as aesthetic injectors, with nearly a decade of experience each. While we live at opposite ends of San Diego County—Stephanie in Carlsbad and myself in Point Loma, we cherish working together and had the exciting idea of opening a medspa at our midpoint: the stunning Del Mar. It promises to be an exciting venture!
Tell us about your business. What should people know about it? What makes it unique?
We are dedicated to helping clients look and feel their absolute best. After training with world-renowned injectors, we decided to create a medspa built on genuine connections and amazing results. Stepping into NIKS feels like meeting up with friends who are passionate about helping you discover your most radiant self. We welcome each patient with a refreshing glass of pineapple juice due to the benefits of the Bromelain in it which helps reduce bruising and promote wound healing. We can't wait to meet our Del Mar neighbors!
What is one product or service you are most known for or is particularly special to you?
We are renowned for our expertise in precise Botox and filler treatments. With a shared dedication to continuous learning, we consistently pursue advanced training and education. Our mastery lies in skillfully placing Botox and fillers to achieve each patient's desired aesthetic, ensuring optimal results and satisfaction with their investment.
Tell us one fun fact about your business most people don't know.
One fun fact about us is that Stephanie and I are sisters. Two years ago, we created a popular baby product that remains on the market today: Bunzie, known for its touch-free diaper rash cream applicator. Another interesting tidbit is that our entire family, mainly our dad, rallied together to renovate our space in just nine days, transforming it into a serene and beachy atmosphere.
What do you love about Del Mar Village?
We have a deep affection for Del Mar and immediately connected with its tight-knit community, which shares a passion for enjoying the outdoors and embracing the neighborhood's natural beauty.
How would you spend the perfect day in Del Mar? Where would you go? What would you eat or do?
A perfect day for us in Del Mar involves wrapping up patient appointments, strolling past our friends at Mr. Roby's Barber Shop and grabbing a Kini Coffee. There, we savor a refreshing cold matcha while taking in the breathtaking view and ocean breeze.
