Keep Del Mar Green

A Community Clean Up Event

Save the date for our next cleanup!

Saturday, January 18, 2025

10:00 to 11:30 AM

Join the Del Mar Village Association for the next “Keep Del Mar Green” community cleanup event! We'll be meeting at the 17th Street Lifeguard Station and spreading out throughout the beach areas and nearby streets to pick up trash that would otherwise end up in our precious waterways.

This cleanup, we will be using baskets from our new Del Mar ShoreSaver Program, a pioneering environmental initiative sponsored by DMVA in partnership with the City of Del Mar, EDCO, and Relic Coastal Collaborative, designed to enhance the cleanliness and ecological health of Del Mar's beaches. Learn more about the ShoreSaver program here

We are encouraging locals to participate in this great opportunity to help keep our community clean alongside the Del Mar Village businesses and organizations that will be helping at the cleanup.

After the cleanup, grab brunch in Del Mar Village and enjoy some special perks at participating local  restaurants, retailers, and service businesses (volunteers will receive an email with all offers).
