The NTWAB will honor excellence in horse racing as awards are given to Team Kenny McPeek (Mr. Fitz Award for typifying the spirit of racing), the Backside Learning Center (Joe Palmer Award for meritorious service to racing), Sean Clancy (Walter Haight Award for career excellence in turf writing) and Laffit Pincay III (Jim McKay Award for career excellence in broadcasting).
